Our Mission:
Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary is dedicated to rescuing abused, abandoned, and neglected dogs from other Michigan shelters & rescues with the goal of finding them loving, forever homes. We focus on spaying and neutering to prevent unwanted litters, and we work to educate the public on improving the welfare of our local animal community. Our commitment includes providing the highest standards of care, including general and specialized veterinary treatment, one-on-one training, and behavioral support. Above all, we offer every dog the love, compassion, and care they deserve. Truly giving them ‘A home along the way’, for as long as they need.
