1/16/2009 – Update on Bridgette’s 1st Week
Mom said this first week’s been absolutely great! They’ve been having lots of fun with walks, playing in yard, and car rides too. Mom said that Bridgette sure does LOVE to ride in the car! No potty accidents so far, and Bridgette is already trusted free-roam in the house. Bridgette does well left alone for short periods of time, and is always excited to see them when they get home.
Bridgette has been a great walking companion. She has already improved from a little pulling at first, and now is much easier on the leash. She’s been such a quick-learner! Her petite size is great, as they had been used to their prior dog which was a huge Boxer. Bridgette is so little and so portable, they can take her everywhere!
Overall Mom said that Bridgette has gotten adjusted to her new home routine very well. The girls are still loving every minute with her! Mom said they are all so attached to Bridgette already, and can tell Bridgette’s become very attached to them too. They are very happy with their new companion!

Hi Kristi,
Just wanted to send you a few photos of Bridgette in action (or sleeping). The girls made a little bed for her next to theirs. They also read to her and sing her songs at night.
We are still taking many walks through the snow and playing in the back yard. Bridgette is so fast, it is hilarious to watch her tear around back there. The girls have also made up a game called "Kong Ball" which they play in the living room. Macy is one team and Bridgette is the other. Isabel is the cheerleader.
We are all really enjoying her. She is so sweet and smart! She even wakes up the girls in the morning, which makes my job much easier!
Thanks again!
Susanne
