Minnie’s 1st Week at Home – 4-27-2009
Mom said things are going great! She admits Minnie is very spoiled…. they just love her to pieces! Minnie has been very well-behaved in the home, with no potty accidents so far. They found out she doesn’t like her crate (she had fun chewing up her plush bed!), but that’s ok because they can gate her to a bigger room instead, but honestly so far she seems very trustworthy in the rest of the house already.
During the day, Minnie enjoys “doggie day care”, and absolutely loves playing with Grandma’s dogs. She looks forward to her walks too, where she gets to sniff & get her exercise too. All the kids love her, and Minnie sure has fun playing fetch with kids. She runs laps around the couch like a crazy girl, which makes everyone laugh. J Minnie has also taken to sleeping at night with the daughter, which both the daughter and Minnie are very happy with this arrangement. J Minnie also seems to sense the time of day when their son is getting home from school, so Minnie will crawl up to sit on the top of the couch (like a cat!) when it’s about that time… and she’ll whimper as she looks out the window to wait for him to arrive home. ” title=”Smile” />
Minnie loves to go “buh-bye”, so they take her with them wherever they go. They love her social personality! Mom says Minnie is such a ham – when they hold her or carry her, & then lay her back down, whichever way they lay her or position her, she stays in that position like a doll… what a cute little goofball she is!
The whole family is very please at how well the first week has been, and are truly enjoying their new ‘Forever Friend!’
