Who can ‘fetch’ the winning photo?
A big thanks to our Volunteer Coordinator, Shauna, for kicking off the New Year with a ‘Doggie Selfie Contest’! Volunteers are encouraged to send in their selfies with Sanctuary dogs all month for our enjoyment and to possibly win a prize! The winner will receive a MAS tee shirt and a $25 giftcard!
Rules: They must include themselves in the photo with a current Mackenzie’s dog, taken between January 1st and January 31st, 2015. Points will be awarded for creativity of photo, activity that you and the dog are doing, and overall cuteness!

Steph used to be a Staff member and we have missed her since she left. We are so excited she has returned as a Volunteer and brought back her awesome kiddos, Marlee & Chase as well!

Rewards of Rescue:
One of the greatest rewards of the rescue work we do at Mackenzie’s is seeing our dogs find their Forever Homes! We take pride in the amount of quality work that goes into helping every dog in our program to become the best dog they can be. From training and behavior work – top notch medical care – quality food and exercise, to all the time we humans love on them – our dogs are getting ready! When they lock eyes on their Forever Family, it truly is a magical moment and a blessing to us all.

Another home visit today! Rocket will be heading to his new home! A huge Thank You to everyone that worked with him! Your support of him has made his Forever Home possible! We will follow-up with some fresh family portraits soon.
Miss Dulcie is heading home today as well! Thanks to all of the Volunteers that helped to give her a great experience at the Sanctuary. First the stairs, now the world! I’m sure we will be seeing more photos of this lovely lady soon too!
