“This is Skyler (a.k.a. “Miller” when he was at Mackenzie’s). He joined our family on May 30 and immediately felt at home. This picture was taken just a few days ago. Thank you, Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary, for matching us up with such a great dog. You helped make our year great, and we will have many more wonderful years with Skyler.”

On Behalf of the entire Staff at Mackenzie’s and the dogs, like Aura waiting for adoption, we wish you and your family a Happy Holiday Season! Thank you so much for your support throughout 2014. Thank you for walking our dogs, for providing TLC time and training time and for Volunteering at our events to raise awareness for our Sanctuary’s good work! Thank you for remembering us when donating to help dogs in need and most of all, thank you for making our four-legged friends a part of your family! We are forever grateful for your continued support and the positive changes we see in each of our special dogs because of you! Our mission at Mackenzie’s, of finding loving forever homes for abused, abandoned and neglected dogs, would not be possible without you – a heartfelt ‘Thank you’ for making a difference one dog at a time! 
We are so excited to share with you, our family and friends, this new fresh website for a new year full of awesome potential! Our goal is to start an ongoing conversation with you about the amazing work we are doing every day at the Sanctuary. We hope to engage you with our ‘tails’ of the transforming journey all of our rescue dogs are on towards finding their Forever Home’s. It is equally important to us to continue to grow a strong ‘Home along the way’, constantly striving to do our best at Mackenzie’s!
