A MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to our long-time resident, CHEETO!

After 2,805 days — yes, you read that right — 2,805 days (that’s over 7 and a half years!) of waiting patiently, charming volunteers, stealing hearts, and trotting around like the “Cheeto Bandito” he is, our boy was officially ADOPTED!

From the day he arrived on February 27th, 2018, Cheeto has shown us what it means to be resilient, to love deeply, and to never give up hope. He had his quirks, sure — but anyone who truly knew Cheeto knows that behind that big personality was a heart made of pure gold.

Cheeto reminded us that every dog, no matter how long they wait, has their perfect match out there. And this week, his moment finally came. He now has a dad who absolutely adores him — a true forever home, filled with the love and understanding he’s always deserved.

To everyone who’s rooted for him, walked him, played with him, loved him — this victory is yours, too. Because of your kindness and belief, Cheeto finally gets his happily ever after.

Here’s to you, sweet boy — may your days be full of couch snuggles, tasty treats, and endless adventures with your new best friend.
