I’ve been meaning to send you an email. I always enjoy getting your newsletter. You all do such good work at Mackenzie’s.
Lady is flourishing. She is very spoiled and enjoys her life as our "only child" at home. She is very smart and knows the meaning of lots of words and is an excellent communicator herself (always remembering whatever behavior that gets us do what she wants). Over the weekend, after 11 inches of rain here, our back yard was flooded. Don was trying to get her to go outside to go potty, but she would not get her feet wet. He put a bunch of duck decoys out there, thinking she would go after them as she loves to chase birds. He was outside sneaking them in the water while she was eating. What a goof. But she knew they were not real and stayed in the dry house. It was actually quite funny. What we human will do for our pets. Hope all is well with you. Enjoy your autumn!
