Dezi’s doing well, overall it’s been a pretty good week! No major problems, just a few potty accidents but Irene said they’ll work through those. She said Dezi is truly such a good girl. She is considering changing her name to Tessie, she’s trying it out to see how that goes.

Dezi loves her walks and exploring their yard. They go for 1-mile walks every morning! Dezi pulls hard on the leash because there is so much to smell, so Irene is starting to work with her using the face-halti for now.

Irene’s dog ‘Star’and Dezi have been getting more adjusted every day and are doing well. They’re still working out their boundaries inside the house, like if one gets too far into the others space they might snarl which is normal and expected. Outdoors they are right along each others’ sides exploring the smells.

Irene loves how Dezi is so much like her prior dog in so many ways…. she said it’s so amazing how similar their personalities and little behavior quirks are! Irene says Dezi really is such a sweetheart, and just a really great dog.
