The family said Durke has been WONDERFUL! And when we spoke today, Mom, Dad & Durke had all just been taking a nap together – how cute is that!

She said Durke has been perfectly housetrained since Day 1. He’s very well-behaved, and is even getting better at not pulling on-leash during their walks. They are hoping to start him in an Obedience Class soon too. He loves his Kong w/goodies inside, they give it to him when in his crate and he gobbles it right up. They said the only thing they’re working on is him still softly ‘whining’ at bedtime in his crate, but its only for about 10 minutes and then he falls asleep… which she knows is normal, she figures it’s just like a kid would do until he gets used to the routine.

She emphasized again it’s been a great week, and they are so very happy with their new friend. P.S. Durke’s new name is going to be “Berkley.”
