Forester has been such a nice dog. Quite often other people, seeing him when we’re out walking or have him in the car with us, will comment, "What a pretty dog!" or "What a beautiful coat!" Now, of course, I think he’s just about the most handsome dog ever. We switched groomers–Forester’s veterinarian now has a full-time groomer so we’re using her–and she uses different shampoos on different dogs, depending on their coats and the condition of their coats. The shampoo and rinse she used on Forester brought out reddish highlights in his fur and made it shine. He looked gorgeous! He’s probably the only dog in the world that sometimes gets a taste of crab or lobster at lunch–actually, imitation crab or lobster that we sometimes put on salads. The look on his face when he tastes it says, "Boy . . . this is some pack I’ve joined up with!"
