Reba Update
3-5-09
Mom said this 1st week has been pretty good! Reba has been very well-mannered, and so laidback in the home.
She doesn’t seem to get excited or worked up for much of anything – she’s pretty much calm and relaxed most of the time.
She hasn’t even barked yet! Mom is home with her most of the day, but even when they leave for a few hours, they haven’t really had to use the crate for Reba – she just chooses to lay on the living room floor on a blanket, peacefully resting her head or watching out the slider window. She’s been so well-behaved & never seems to get into trouble when they’re gone. Reba also likes to lay right by their air purifier, because she enjoys the nice cool breeze it blows onto her.
Reba absolutely LOVES her walks, and really looks forward to them every day. She walks great with her harness & leash, and she’s even so patient with Mom while she puts on her harness each time. The only peep they’ve ever heard out of her is walking across the street when Reba walks near a neighbor dog behind its fence, she might do a low growl, but that’s about it and she just keeps on walking.
They took Reba for a ride to ChowHound, and Reba had so much fun in the store! She even picked out her own special
toy – a plushy squeaky toy is the only one she got excited about.
Overall, Mom and Dad have been very pleased with Reba, and are so glad to have her home! ” title=”Very Happy” />
