It is always exciting when we go out to rescue new dogs. Today we went to the shelter and temperament tested numerous dogs. Then the hard but rewarding part; deciding which ones would fit our programs and have a high probability of being adopted. We brought in two new ones. It really makes for a great day and re affirms we are making a difference.
I went back to isolation to look at them and they look adorable. Guido had the biggest smile I’ve ever seen and he had the wiggle butt. Gracie was a little unsure but adorable nonetheless.
I know we all wish we could save every one of them, but saving even one is cause for happiness.
It is incredible to be able to save so many. It is because of all of us and our committment to the cause. Gracie is a bit vocal wanting attention. She is very wiggly and wants to be close to you. Guido is very wiggly and loose. He sure enjoys his food.
