Hi, This is our Max – AKA Stephan, we love him SO much! He’s pretty happy here too.

The last week-and-a-half has gone really well. Stephan loves to play fetch, so they make sure to do that in the yard every day, plus their daily walks for more exercise (and he only likes to go potty out on the walks so they haven’t had to poop-scoop yet!!). He still likes to play “keep-away” in the yard, but he’s really good at the “Give” command once they catch up with him.

Stephan has done great in the house, he seems very well-trained already. They’ve left him alone in the house while at work and he does totally fine. When visitors come over, he is still very leary/unsure of men, but he’s perfectly fine with women. So they are working on slow introductions with any new people that visit. (with men he has shown a few warning barks and low growls if nervous, but they have made sure to go slow and give him his space so he can warm up on his own time).

Overall his mom said he’s been so GREAT, she said he’s “all we ever wanted and more.” Also, they have renamed him to be “MAX.”
