    I have to say that Ava is so much fun to work with. After I posted last night, I took my dog Leeli to PetSmart for our evening outing, and I saw a great magazine all about the top ten secrets to training your lab, which I purchased and read when I got home.

    After reading one of the articles and learning more about what makes Ava tick, I was inspired! I couldn’t wait to get to work today and dig in; I came to work bound and determined today to start making Ava the best lab she can be. And low and behold, it was an incredible 30 minutes! I saw small improvements in her behavior–the jumpiness is slightly better, and she waited politely for her lunch today. I know it seems like a minor thing, but it’s so exciting to see how *fast * she learns, and how much of a people pleaser she can be.
