We are excited to share that we are now partnering with Bonfire, an online store to raise funds by selling Mackenzie’s shirts. Learn more...
First you’ll want to fill out our online adoption survey; if you are unable to get online you can call the office at 616-693-2490. After that, the adoption advisor will contact you by phone or email to discuss the dog/dogs that would best fit into your lifestyle. Then, you both will go over a time and a date that will work out best for you to come out and have your first visit with the dog/dogs. If a bond has been established with one of the dogs a second visit will be scheduled for you and your family to meet with the dog again. When that visit is over and the adopter and the Adoption Advisor are certain that this is the correct fit, a home visit can be scheduled. This is where we bring the dog to your house to make sure it’s a safe environment and to help the adopter and adoptee settle in together. If all goes well and everything looks good we leave the dog with you that day.
