A Season of Gratitude at MAS
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we took the time this week to reflect on what we’re most grateful for — and at the top of that list is you, our incredible community.

Today, we want to shine a light on the generous donors and doggy sponsors who make our mission possible. Every dollar and every donated item creates a ripple of impact throughout the lives of the dogs in our care. Your support funds life-saving surgeries and specialty medical treatments, fills bowls with the right diets for each dog’s needs, maintains our sanctuary, and fills our days with wagging tails and joyful enrichment.
After 1,255 days…our sweet Clovis finally got his happy ending!

When Clovis first arrived at MAS, he was in heartbreaking condition — severely emaciated, covered in sores, and fighting to survive. He was skin and bones, but his spirit was pure gold. Even at his weakest, he had nothing but love to give. Every cuddle, every tail wag, every soft look reminded us just how strong and gentle he truly was!

After 2,805 days — yes, you read that right — 2,805 days (that’s over 7 and a half years!) of waiting patiently, charming volunteers, stealing hearts, and trotting around like the “Cheeto Bandito” he is, our boy was officially ADOPTED!

From the day he arrived on February 27th, 2018, Cheeto has shown us what it means to be resilient, to love deeply, and to never give up hope. He had his quirks, sure — but anyone who truly knew Cheeto knows that behind that big personality was a heart made of pure gold.
