You might be wondering where I get a name such as Clovis (meaning renowned fighter); well when I was found I had some pretty bad injuries and was severely emaciated (for real, I was basically a skeleton with skin and fur). Thank goodness MAS was able to take me in and nurse me back to health. It was pretty touch-and-go for a while, and I almost didn’t make it…but with the help of MAS, we fought for my life and overcame the odds. Though I am “out of the woods” as they say, some TLC is still needed (…I want all your cuddles!).

Despite having such a traumatic past, I am such a good boy. I LOVE people of all ages, which goes to show how resilient and positive I really am (except with cats…I am positive I am not a fan of those things). I have done well meeting some of the other dogs at MAS as well. I am so ready to find a welcoming home and a family to call my own. I want to feel safe and know that I will never have to go through anything like my past again. I have all the love in the world to give, if only I am given a chance….The last picture is of me when I first arrived at MAS.
