Meet Thor

Thor is a fitting name for this big hunk! Just like the Marvel hero, he’s handsome, strong, adventurous, and undeniably hilarious.

He’s a lovable lug with a heart of gold who just needs a bit of patience and guidance as he continues learning his manners. Thor approaches the world with innocent curiosity and has been practicing his “all-fours-on-the-floor” rule when he gets excited. He’s very treat-motivated and has already picked up several commands—his “shake” might be the cutest of all, though it’s more of a joyful high-five than a polite handshake.

Thor would thrive in an active home that enjoys fun outings and outdoor adventures. He’s great with kids, but because he sometimes forgets just how big he is, he would do best with older children who won’t be knocked over by his enthusiasm. His gentle nature with little ones has earned him the nickname Papa Thor—he’s incredibly sweet with puppies! He’s also made a handful of adult dog friends here at MAS and would be happy to have a canine sibling. (Cats, however, are a no-go for this superhero.)
