Fancy is as lovely as her name suggests, gentle, affectionate, and happiest when she’s soaking up love from her favorite people. This sweet girl is currently in foster care, where she’s healing from surgery and getting ready to begin her forever chapter.

Fancy had a few bumps along the way with her knees and hips. She has very mild hip dysplasia in both hips, a luxating patella (her kneecap that sometimes slips) in her right knee, and she tore a ligament in her left knee, which required corrective surgery. The good news is that she’s recovering beautifully. While Fancy may always have some limitations with high-energy activities, she’s still able to enjoy walks, playtime at her own pace, and most importantly, lots of cuddle time.

Her favorite things in the world are belly rubs, gentle pets, and being right by your side. Fancy isn’t a fan of being left alone for long stretches, she feels safest when her people are nearby. She would be happiest with a family who has plenty of time to spend with her, whether that’s snuggling on the couch, going for leisurely nose patrols, or just keeping each other company.
