    Lefty (who will be Lucy, we think) – she’s wonderful! Yesterday she/we had a walk, had a kong-retrieving session with Paul in the "pen", went to Meijer with us, got a new toy, had many mini-trips around the property, had standoffs with our cat (no one won; no one lost), ate her dinner, shed, slept all night on a blanket in our room, got lots of petting and praise, and generally had a terrific first day! Paul wants me to tell you she’s wonderful and we love her – both true. She’s learning to stay out of the kitchen and dining room and is responding really well to sit, (lie) down and stay, as well as out. I think this dog has had previous training, because she’s responding so quickly.

    Thanks so much for all you’ve done. She’s already part of the family!
