After 1,255 days…our sweet Clovis finally got his happy ending!

When Clovis first arrived at MAS, he was in heartbreaking condition — severely emaciated, covered in sores, and fighting to survive. He was skin and bones, but his spirit was pure gold. Even at his weakest, he had nothing but love to give. Every cuddle, every tail wag, every soft look reminded us just how strong and gentle he truly was!

Clovis’s hardships left him with serious medical challenges, and there was a time we weren’t sure he’d make it. But this boy is a fighter through and through

For more than three years and five months, Clovis showed us the power of resilience and the magic of love. He became a favorite for so many, the snuggle bug everyone looked forward to curling up with, the comforting presence that could make any hard day a little brighter

And now… he’s finally home!

To see him now happy, healthy, and finally home means everything to everyone who’s had the joy of knowing him. His new mom saw him and loved him immediately, despite his medical challenges, and knew he was the one. Clovis has found his person, someone who will fill his life with all the love, naps, and cozy blankets his heart could ever want!

We are so grateful we can give our dogs the greatest gift of all — time. Sometimes it takes a while to find the right person, but we truly believe there’s someone out there for every dog. Our hearts are overflowing watching our long-term pups find their way home at last. Everyone who loved and cared for Clovis along the way should feel incredibly proud, because this moment, this happy ending, is what all that love and patience were for
