With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we took the time this week to reflect on what we’re most grateful for — and at the top of that list is you, our incredible community.

Today, we want to shine a light on the generous donors and doggy sponsors who make our mission possible. Every dollar and every donated item creates a ripple of impact throughout the lives of the dogs in our care. Your support funds life-saving surgeries and specialty medical treatments, fills bowls with the right diets for each dog’s needs, maintains our sanctuary, and fills our days with wagging tails and joyful enrichment.

You are the reason so many dogs receive second chances, comfort, and compassionate care while they wait for their forever families. From soft beds to squeaky toys, from prescription food to vital vet visits — your kindness makes it all happen.

Each person here plays a vital role in making MAS truly a home along the way.

Our kennel manager and attendants build trust and comfort with every dog who comes through our doors.
Our veterinary team provides healing, treatment, and the medical support that makes second chances possible.
Our adoption coordinator helps turn hopeful meetings into forever homes.
Our volunteer coordinator strengthens the bridge between our dogs and the community that loves them.
Behind the scenes, our accountant keeps daily operations on track, our maintenance crew keeps the sanctuary safe and functional, and our general manager ensures everyone — staff, dogs, and volunteers — has what they need to thrive.

Some days are long and challenging. There are early mornings, late nights, and moments that test us. But there are also wagging tails, quiet snuggles, heartwarming breakthroughs, and the deep fulfillment of knowing that together, we are making a difference.
