Rosko is a special boy who has figured out that life is much better when you spend it surrounded by love.

Rosko is blind, but he certainly doesn’t let that slow him down. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who loves leaning into his people for attention, soaking up affection, and finding the coziest possible spot for a good snuggle.

And when Rosko decides it’s cuddle time… well, personal space is simply no longer a thing. He’ll happily roll around in your lap, wiggle his way into whatever position feels coziest, and settle in like he has every intention of becoming one with you. Apparently, the perfect lap is less of a place to sit and more of a full-body experience.

Rosko came to us alongside his little sister, Pinkie, and the two have enjoyed spending time together here at the sanctuary. While Rosko has been comfortable with Pinkie, he has not yet been formally introduced to any other dogs, so we are still learning what his friendships with other dogs may look like.

As with all of our adoptions, if you have another dog at home, we will arrange a dog-to-dog introduction before adoption to make sure everyone is comfortable and that the dogs are a good match. We want every member of the family, furry or otherwise, to feel confident about the new addition!

This gentle senior has so much love left to give, and he’d love nothing more than a home where he can spend his days feeling safe, comfortable, and very, very loved.

Rosko may not be able to see the world around him, but he knows exactly what he loves—and that’s being close to his people.
