Myra said Baxter has been plastered next to her, acting like he has always lived there! The first night at home, Baxter and Myra watched T.V. together on the couch for hours, Baxter just relaxing on her lap. He seems so comfortable! She said he even trusts her enough already to wipe the goop off his eyes. 

Myra said that surprisingly, Baxter is actually rather laidback and mello in his home routine. He gets excited for their morning walks, and pulls a little bit, but they are working on it. She said he’s really smart and a quick learner. He is already trusted to be left alone when baby-gated to his ‘safe room’ (laundry room).

Thanksgiving was wonderful, and Baxter did great with the family and all the visiting dogs. Myra’s delighted that he’s done so well with her daughter’s Labrador Retriever, and is still great with her son’s WheatonTerrier puppy “Max.”

Myra says that overall Baxter is doing exceptionally well. She thanked all of us at Mackenzie’s for saving him for her!!
