Update – 9/10/2009 Gavin is doing very well. He had his first vet check and the vet was amazed at the excellent medical condition he was in. The vet said his teeth coat and overall physical condition was the best the vet has seen. They have already picked up the next 6 months of heartworm meds. The adopter was off of work for the first week Gavin was home and Gavin would come into his bedroom at 7:45 each morning and put his paw on the bed and nudge him, then put his head down and wait for him to open his eyes….he did this everyday for the whole week. It’s like Gavin has an alarm clock in his head. Gavin is a great pet…loves car rides, sticks his nose out the window. The back windows only go down that far, and he loves it.
