Adoption Date – 11/20/20086/1/2009 Update
Just wanted everyone to know that we got to see Luci (know Barley) on Saturday at the "Dogs Day in the Park". Both Luci and her new brother were there along with mom and dad. Both mom and dad said that she is doing wonderful and they love her to pieces. Luci was her usual wiggly self and very excited to see us and doing really well with the huge crowd of people and dogs there

Eric said that the first week has gone very well! Luci (now named BARLEY) has been getting settled in, and is pretty much just part of the family now! She only had two potty accidents at first, but Eric said that was expected and they most likely missed her signals. Luci absolutely LOVES her walks, especially walking around the lake! She’s not big into running yet, but that’s ok. They are working on commands every day. She is very smart!Luci and her sister dog Tannin are playing really well together. They chase and wrestle a lot, but they do know how to stop when they get tired. They don’t have any problems at feeding time; they don’t fight over food or toys or anything. Tannin seems to let Luci do whatever she wants to! Luci sleeps on their bed at night and both dogs do great in the room together. During the day Luci is perfect with her Crate Training too.
Eric said that overall, they have been very pleased with the smooth transition of Luci (Barley) joining their family!
